2022 ADSCA Nominations

The 2022 Australian Disability Service Awards, proudly sponsored by Care Squared and hosted by One Community, will recognise excellence, innovation and leading changemakers in the disability service sector across Australia. Finalists and winners will celebrate at the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre on the evening of the 9th November 2022. At the disability service sectors night of nights, attendees will dress up in black tie to celebrate our industry’s achievements.

There are 12 award categories. Nominations will be reviewed by an experienced panel of people who are industry aligned. The panel will shortlist each category to finalists and an overall winner. Finalists will be announced in September.

Best Assistive Technology Product

Best assistive technology product offering latest innovation, excellent building quality, reliability and function.

Best New Business

Best new business demonstrating innovation, creative and strategic thinking. Business must be less than 2 years old and have an ABN.

Most Outstanding CEO/Director

Most outstanding CEO/Director contributing to the company's performance, possessing excellent leadership qualities and held in high esteem by peers.

Most Outstanding Support Coordinator

Most outstanding Support Coordinator, exemplifying choice & control and strategically contributing to the participants living better lives.

Most Outstanding Support Worker

Most outstanding Support Worker contributing to meeting the goals of Participants.

Most Outstanding Allied Health Organisation

Most outstanding allied health organisation directly contributing to improving the health and wellbeing of NDIS Participants through allied health services.

Most Outstanding Plan Management Company

Most outstanding plan management company exemplifying outstanding customer service, including ensuring their customers receive maximum benefit from their funding.

Innovation in Community Programs

Innovation in community programs by a community-based organisation (non-NDIS provider) showing inclusive practice.

Best Remote Service/Program

Best remote service/program showing innovation by directly contributing to the improved health and wellbeing of NDIS Participants in a rural or remote area of Australia, and positively impacting the community.

Best Accommodation Provider

Best accommodation provider with an innovative accommodation model promoting a life of independence, and providing a 'home' rather than a place of residence.

Best Early Intervention Program

Best early intervention program showing an innovative early intervention model demonstrating positive outcomes in terms of reducing the need for ongoing support.

Innovation in Employment Programs

Innovative employment programs that utilise people's unique skills, builds new skills and provides a true sense of workplace contribution.
